SNOWBOARDING!

This post is long overdue since we went snowboarding on MLK weekend, but oh well!

Steve's awesome friend Trevor works at Sundance and got us in for free! It was a great day!
We had so much fun. Thanks Trevor!

We were all a little rusty, but we got the hang of it in the end.

Funny story....(well now it is funny)
On the way out of Sundance, there was a huge rock in the middle of the road. I clearly saw it from the passenger seat and I assumed Steve did too (he was driving). Turns out, he didn't see it....
The rock was literally HUGE and SHARP. We hit it head on, and it made a horrible noise. I said "That will give us a flat tire FOR SURE!" He didn't seem to think so, so we continued driving into the canyon. Of course, about 1/2 of a mile onto the road through the canyon that is 65miles an hour, the car started shaking indicating a flat tire. It was a prime location as well, because we were right around a corner so no one could see us until they started to whip around the corner. Jake and Steve got to work on the tire, and me in my bright green jacket and yellow rain boots stood at the back of the car, hoping they would see me and swerve away from Jake and Steve. We made record time changing that tire---15 minutes! WOW!

 The poor, flat tire....

Tightening the last lug nut!

What a fun day!
