This weekend was our school's "spring break." Basically an excuse to pile on more work...
We got Friday and Monday off, and it was nicer than I thought it would be despite the studying. Friday we took off to board at Sundance, but the weather was so bad we nixed that idea quickly. We visited our dear friend Connie in Provo and then spent the rest of the day with friends enjoying March Madness!
Saturday I worked, and Sunday I was supposed to work but unfortunately got sick (either food poisoning or some 24-hour bug).
Monday was my birthday! Steve woke up early and made me crepes! They were delicious. We headed back up to Sundance and hit the slopes this time! My parents bought us boards for our birthday this year so we had to try them out! It was a blast! I taught Steve how to snowboard last year and he is now better than me...lame! After we went shopping and rented Inception. We went out to dinner with my aunt and cousins, and Steve's parents and brother Jake. It was a ton of fun! We ate at Mimi's Cafe, and I had never been there. Yum!
Overall, the weekend was fun and Steve made my birthday wonderful. Everyone that left me messages on facebook, my email, texted me, called me and dropped surprises on my doorstep made it that much better! I definitely felt very loved all day long. Too bad my birthday only comes around once a year :)
