Graduation!

On Tuesday, April 26th I got a text from Steve that said "By the way, I am walking for graduation on Friday at 5 pm" 

Awesome...for the whole year I have nagged him about walking for graduation and he said he didn't want to. I finally gave up, and then I get this text...4 DAYS before graduation! Luckily for him, our good friend Blake Andersen came through with a loaner cap and gown, and my parents happened to be in town to help Jake get home from BYU. So it all worked out, but it was a bit of a surprise to say the least! 

So excited to graduate!!!

 We snuck out of graduation after he walked across the stage...it was supposed to be 3hours long! The largest college at BYU...so we ditched :)

 Of course we needed pictures next to the stadium and the famous cougar!

 And it's practically illegal to graduate from BYU without a picture next to the sign!

 There was a couple before us taking pictures where the wife graduated, so the husband picked her up. We decided to try it but I could only get one leg off the ground...haha

 And then I tried to get a jumping picture but failed...

 Well I guess I got this one, but it's a bit dorky :)

After graduation my parents and Steve and I went to Wingers for dinner and then back to his house from some root beer floats. It was a fun day and Steve was glad he graduated!

I must say though, being at graduation makes me want to graduate very badly! All of my friends graduated this year..and I would have if I hadn't dropped out to get my doctorate :) I guess I will have the final laugh when I graduate with a doctor of pharmacy in 2 years...I hope the time flies!!!
