Halloween!!!

We had a fun Halloween this year! Before Halloween, we went to our ward party dressed as Mario and the Princess (repeat costume due to lack of time, don't judge). Funny story came out of that...we had a few people ask "Where's Luigi?" just joking...but boy, we had a great answer. Without even rehearsing it, both Steve and I looked at each other and said "He's on a mission in Brazil!" Those people thought it was so funny, and we said "No...really...he is on a mission in Brazil." Haha! We got a good laugh out of that. Here is our picture when we dressed up 3 years ago with Jake...we didn't take a picture of the repeat costume this year.

After the party, our friend Jen and Trevor came back to our house and with Dana and Aaron we watched "Wait until Dark." Great movie, despite fact that it is very old. Audrey Hepburn is an incredible actress. And I was pleased to find out it was NOT in black and white, because I am not a fan of black and white movies.

On Sunday, we dressed up again and headed down to Jenny and Landon's for Connie's annual Halloween dinner with her chili that has all sorts of surprises in it :) We love spending time with the Johnsons! I got to hold little miss Emma for the majority of the night and we had a great time. We dressed up as Barbie and Ken (which is harder to do than you might think because it's difficult to identify yourselves as them...You can be the judge as to how well we did.

On Monday night, Dana and Aaron and us had a little family night and carved pumpkins! It was a good time had by all! I struggled getting an awesome picture of us with the glowing pumpkins, but in the end I think I got a pretty sweet looking one!

Halloween was on Wednesday and we passed out candy to all the little trick or treaters. It was a fun time! After we ran out of candy, we turned the lights out, blew out the pumpkins, and watched  "The Uninvited" with Dana and Aaron. Creepy, AWESOME movie with a great storyline that leaves you thinking really hard at the end about what you just saw. Definitely would recommend it as a good scary movie to watch.
